Extended Server Maintenance Tonight
From around 6PM GMT tonight the server will experience extended downtime for a number of hours whilst I re-image the server from Debian, to CentOS. I’m doing this for a number of reasons, but it’s mainly to increase security and stability and make up for some of Debians shortcomings! Sorry about the inconvenience

Server Move
I’ve finally gotten hold of a linode, and updated the system, I’m in the process of building the server now, and will eventually have to move the site. It’s coming soon, for a faster more powerful server and better site. Stay tuned

Fault Finding
It seems I have located the error in the stats system Turns out the stats system is not correctly counting visits, but is correctly counting page views. Welcome to the new site, God I’m nervous… Will you all like it? Will you hate it? Will you use the features I’ve been working hard to put in place… I don’t know, but there’s a real heart wrenching story for me, in the fact that I loved the old site, because it was me, It was my design, It was MY site. All of it. And being sat here writing this post a few days before the site goes live… Well I have to say I’m looking at my old site, wishing it could stay, but it just isn’t realistic.

Errrgh
Being fed up is not something I like to be. True there are times that venting frustration and even anger are well worth it, and somewhat satisfying, but right now I’m fed up. Unfortunatley I have become a casualty of the recession, being screwed over and made redundant.
True It has given me much time to reflect on things, plus begin work on certain things that I am vastly behind on (like sorting out my website) but other than that……

I have begun the mammoth task of updating all of the pages to CSS however this really is more of a task than I realized. When I created the site, each page had it’s own style sheet, meaning some styles conflicted.
