Why have these things never caught on?
Sometimes someone creates something, a service, or a piece of hardware, that is just completley revolutionary, and completley brilliant, but for some reason it does not catch on. Maybe it’s because that the technology is so brilliant, people don’t want to take it up, they like to slip into the old ways once again, rather than take up the perfectly brilliant technology.
There’s a few things I can think of. In fact there’s a few things I’ve found out recently, owing largley to unemployment. Yes indeed I was chucked at one of the worst times in the last 30 years. New Pictures Added
Whilst out walking the dog in Victoria Park in Cardiff, early one January morning, the statue which is normally covered in water, was covered in ice. Rushing back home, I grabbed my camera, and started work taking pictures. These were originally intended to go up on the old site when it was live, but unfortunately it would have taken 3 hours to add 4 simple pictures.
Fault Finding
It seems I have located the error in the stats system Turns out the stats system is not correctly counting visits, but is correctly counting page views. Wassup was detecting browsers scanning for RSS links which were indicating another hit which was not correct, similarly statpress was counting the correct number of pageviews, but not [...]

Coffee And Cigarettes…
Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a smoker, and a relativley heavy one at that. Not only that but I tend to drink a lot of coffee and tea, so you can imagine I get a surprising mix of ‘chemicals’ in my body at any given time. Give me a small espresso, and two cigarettes in the morning, and I tend to be bouncing off the walls whilst being quite lethargic as well. Latley however I’ve been looking at various alternatives to my daily pack of Malboro Lights and double espresso. The first 5 Minutes
Just a small note on the first 5 Minutes of life this site had… 285 hits eeek!! I can also confirm that the site is running at peak efficiency and everything is going smoothly! 4.3 Seconds load time! Don’t forget we also have a mobile site!
Welcome to the new site!
Welcome to the new site, God I’m nervous… Will you all like it? Will you hate it? Will you use the features I’ve been working hard to put in place… I don’t know, but there’s a real heart wrenching story for me, in the fact that I loved the old site, because it was me, It was my design, It was MY site. All of it. And being sat here writing this post a few days before the site goes live… Well I have to say I’m looking at my old site, wishing it could stay, but it just isn’t realistic.
